StandbyHer is a charity organization which founded by @LiangYustacey, a women’s rights advocate. StandbyHer aims to push the subject of period poverty — what the United Nations describes as the financial struggle low-income women and girls face to afford menstrual products — to the forefront of the national conversation. Since 2020, it has been distributing sanitary napkins to girls in remote areas every month to help them fight period poverty.
